Functional Training
Functional Training is a style of training that targets the types of movements you do on a daily basis. Among the benefits of this style of training versus a more generalized approach:

  • Tones and strengthens the body
  • Uses motions and muscle movement common to daily life activities
  • Increases functional capacity that may decrease due to aging or injury
  • Decreases chance of injury and back strain from lifting or carrying (great for new moms — less chance of injury while carrying children or when taking up a new sport or returning after a period of inactivity)
